A Field Just for You
For your booked session, the field is exclusively yours, you won’t be sharing it with other customers or their dogs.
That makes it a great option for dogs who need a little more space, as well as owners who simply want somewhere secure where their dog can enjoy being off-lead.
Perfect for:
- Reactive or nervous dogs
- Dogs with unreliable recall
- Recall and training sessions
- Puppies learning and building confidence
- Rescue dogs settling into new routines
- High-energy dogs needing a proper run
- Multi-dog households
- Anyone who wants a peaceful, private walk
There’s plenty of room to run and explore, a small weather shelter and a water tap for dogs. Best of all, you can enjoy your walk without constantly wondering where your dog has disappeared to!

How to Book & Enter the Field
1. Book your session
Choose the number of dogs you’re bringing, then select your preferred available date and time. All sessions last 55 minutes.
2. Look out for your emails
Complete your details when booking, including your name, contact information and vehicle registration.
Your booking confirmation will include directions and arrival information. One hour before your booked session, we’ll email you the access code for the field gate.
3. Arrive just before your session
Please arrive only a few minutes before your booked time. This gives the previous guest plenty of time to finish their walk and leave before you enter. Please stay in the shopping village car park until your session to allow the previous user time to exit.
4. Enter safely
You can either park outside the wooden gate and walk your dog to the field on a lead, or drive through the wooden gate and into the secure field before letting your dog out of your vehicle.
Use the code from your email on the padlock and press the centre button to release it.
Please make sure the field gate is fully closed and locked before letting your dog off their lead or out of your vehicle.
5. Time for walkies!
The field is yours for the session – run, play, train, sniff, explore and enjoy your private space!
6. Before you leave
Please pick up after your dog and use the dog waste bin beside the gate. A water tap is available for dogs, but the water is not for human consumption.
Please leave promptly at the end of your 55-minute session so the next guest can enter on time.
When leaving, close and secure the gate and reset the padlock to 0000.
We hope you and your four-legged friends have a brilliant visit!

Frequently Asked Questions
How secure is the field?
The 2.3-acre field is enclosed with 6ft fencing and is for the exclusive use of the customer who has booked that session. Although the field is enclosed, no fencing can be guaranteed to be completely escape-proof for every dog. Owners are responsible for assessing whether the field and fencing are suitable for their dog before allowing them off lead.
How long is my booking?
Each booking gives you 55 minutes in the field. The short gap between sessions helps customers leave before the next booking begins.
Can I just turn up and pay?
No. All sessions must be booked and paid for online before arrival. This ensures the field remains exclusive to one booking at a time.
How many dogs can I bring?
Our standard bookings accommodate up to 8 dogs. Launch prices are £10 for 1–3 dogs and £14 for 4–8 dogs. For groups of more than 8 dogs, please contact hatton@hattonworld.com before booking.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Bookings are non-refundable. You can request to reschedule your session up to 72 hours before your booked time, subject to availability. Please email hatton@hattonworld.com with your original booking confirmation number or call us on 01926 843411.
Is there parking?
Yes. Parking for Dog Walking Field customers is included. There are parking spaces outside the field, and hardstanding is also available within the secure field for customers who would prefer to drive inside before releasing their dogs. Please provide your vehicle registration when booking.
Is the field floodlit?
There is some lighting around the field, but this is limited. If you’re visiting during darker hours, we recommend bringing a torch and using a light-up or flashing collar for your dog.
Is drinking water available?
There is a tap providing water for dogs. Please note that this water is not suitable for human consumption.
Are there toilets?
There are currently no toilet facilities within the field itself. Public toilets are available a short walk away in Hatton Shopping Village, behind Meadows Boutique.
Can I bring children?
Yes, children are welcome to accompany you, but they must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Can dogs covered by the Dangerous Dogs Act use the field?
Unfortunately, due to our insurance requirements, we are unable to accept dogs that are prohibited under Section 1 of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. This currently includes XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino and Fila Brasileiro types. We appreciate that many owners use secure dog fields specifically to exercise their dogs safely, and we’re sorry that we’re unable to accommodate these dogs at Hatton.
