What is your Accessibility in Hatton Shopping Village?

The Shopping Village is made up of old Victorian barns, so while we strive to maintain good access, the surfaces are not perfectly flat in all areas. However, the main walkways are generally suitable for wheelchairs, mobility aids, and pushchairs.

Entrances & Doorways

All shops in the Shopping Village are accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. All shops in the Shopping Village are accessible, except for the Escape Rooms, where we are happy to provide a ramp for entry when needed.

Is there step-free access throughout the Shopping Village?

Yes, the majority of the Shopping Village is step-free. However, as we are based in historic Victorian barns, there may be some slightly uneven surfaces. If you have any concerns, our team are happy to advise or assist.

Do you have mobility scooters for hire?

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer wheelchair or scooter hire.

Are benches or rest areas available?

Yes, there are several benches and seating areas around the Shopping Village for visitors to take a break and rest.

Are there blue badge spaces?

We have a limited number of Blue Badge spaces located in the Shopping Village car park, which is directly down the main driveway upon arrival. Parking in these bays is free of charge. At the bay, you’ll find a signpost with a number to text your registration and Blue Badge number to for validation. If these bays are all occupied you will still have free parking with your blue badge on show.

Is assistance available if I need help getting around?

While we don’t have dedicated staff for physical assistance, our friendly team are always happy to help where possible. If you have specific needs or concerns before your visit, feel free to contact us in advance.

Do I have to pay for parking?

Blue Badge parking is free –  regular parking is free for the first hour, then £2 all day after the first hour

Do you have disabled toilets?

There is a disabled-accessible toilet located within the Shopping Village, just behind Meadows Boutique.

Can I bring dogs?

Dogs are welcome in the Country World site but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times – please note all shops are independently ran therefore up to each shop. Please note dogs are NOT permitted in the Adventure World.

Can I visit the animals from the shopping village?

The animals are located within Hatton Adventure World, our separate family attraction. You are very welcome to visit, but a ticket is required for entry.

Entry & Carer Discount

Access to the Shopping Village and Garden Centre is completely free of charge. Hatton Adventure World is chargeable. Attendees with DLA/PIP/Blue Badge/ Drs note are eligible for a free carer to accompany them – Please note that this ticket is valid only when accompanying a visitor who has purchased a full-price ticket and is limited to one carer per visitor

Is Hatton Adventure World accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs?

Within the Adventure World, most of our paths are hard standing, which makes them generally accessible for both manual wheelchairs and powered mobility scooters. However, some of our shows and attractions do take place on grassy areas.  As we are a working farm our paths may be a little uneven or get muddy particularly in bad weather.
