Step into a mesmerising wonderland of illuminated splendour at the Hatton Light Trail. With lights displays that will captivate your imagination and interactive immersive experiences, Follow our offroad trail under the glow of the moon, adventure through our enchanting woodland. Hatton Light Trail will bring the magic of the Festive season alive for the young and old alike.
Along the way, indulge in the timeless tradition of marshmallow toasting and savour the delights of festive food and drink, including mulled wine, hot chocolate, and hot baps from our catering station witha heated, undercover area to enjoy your food and catch up with friends in the festive atmosphere. As winter’s nightfall blankets the landscape, remember to bundle up warmly and bring your trusty wellies to fully immerse yourself in the experience.

How long does It take to complete The Light Trail?
The trail is approximately 1.5 kilometres and will take approximately 45 – 75 minutes to complete depending on how long you stop to admire the light displays.
What is the Hatton Light Trail
The Hatton Light Trail is an enchanting light trail that takes place after dark. An illuminated trail will lead you through the grounds of Hatton Country World, with up to 40 magical light displays and immersive experiences along the way. Please note that the Hatton Light Trail is a completely outdoor experience and as the event takes place after dark in Winter, it will be cold, dark and also wet if it rains. Please ensure that you wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear to enjoy the experience.
Who is the event suitable for?
The Hatton Light Trail is suitable for all ages. There will be disabled car parking located close to the entrance, as well as disabled toilets onsite. The trail itself will be on hard standing or trackway, making it easier to push wheel chairs or push chairs in wet conditions. There will also be a short cut for those who might find walking a full 1.5 kilometres too much.
What facilities are on site?
There will be toilets onsite as well as street food and hot drink concessions. There is FREE car parking available onsite and disabled parking available close to the entrance.
What happens if it rains?
If we have to cancel a date due to weather or if you would prefer to move your booking due to weather you will be able do so by contacting hatton@hattonworld.com. We do not offer refunds for either scenario just an alternative day
When should I arrive?
Tickets are sold in 15 minute slots. Please ensure that you arrive promptly for your time slot. We cannot guarantee that we are able to book you into a later time slot should you be delayed for any reason. If you would like to change your date/timeslot, please contact us at hatton@hattonworld.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request, however, due to limited tickets being available we cannot guarantee that we will be able to process your request. We do not offer refunds due to inclement weather conditions however, we do offer a Wet Weather Guarantee (please see above question). Do Hatton Adventure World Members get a discount to the light trail?
No, Hatton Adventure World members do not get a discount for the light trail. The light trail is being ran by an outside company and Hatton Country World (The Adventure worlds parent company) are just hosting this event.
Do I get a discount if I am visiting Hatton Adventure Worlds Enchanted Christmas Kingdom?
Yes, all visitors of The Enchanted Christmas Kingdom will be emailed after booking there visit to the Enchanted Christmas Kingdom with details on how to book the Light trail with an exclusive offer of £3 off per person. Please note you can visit the Enchanted Christmas Kingdom and the Light trail on the same or different dates, the discount would still apply
Are Dogs allowed on the Light Trail?
No. Unfortunately, only task trained assistance dogs are permitted on the Light Trail.

Event Safety
All visitors must remain on the marked trail at all times.Stewards will be located at various points around the trail, however as the event takes place after dark please exercise caution when moving through the trail. The trail may also become slippery in wet conditions.Please do not touch any displays, lights or electricals unless instructed to do so by stewards.Children and vulnerable adults must be supervised at all times.The Hatton Light Trail is a completely outdoor experience and as the event takes place after dark in Winter, it will be cold, dark and also wet if it rains. Please ensure that you wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear to enjoy the experience.
Flashing Lights
Some scenes include up to 4 flashes of light per second. There will also be pulsating and flashing light effects as part of the light trail.
